Community Outreach

Purpose
To promote an ongoing dialogue about the importance of early childhood development throughout the community, assuring parents, caregivers and those in the community working with families with young children, have access to resources and information.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute promotional items for KITE.
• Make connections with, and enlist the support of Faith Leaders, area pediatricians and others who work with families and young children.
• Network with community organizations to create new ways of getting information to parents, providers and the community at large.

Events/Tasks

• Oversee website development.
• Distribute Born Learning materials.
• Hold an event for pediatricians.
